Senate Commerce Committee Advances National Quantum Initiative Reauthorization Act

On World Quantum Day, April 14, the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee marked up and favorably reported the National Quantum Initiative Reauthorization Act, as amended, by unanimous voice vote. Its companion bill, the Department of Energy Quantum Leadership Act, awaits action in the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. The Quantum Industry Coalition has endorsed both bills and looks forward to their enactment.
